Terms & Conditions




By registering for the RAJAGIRI MARATHON, the participant agrees to abide by the conditions of entry listed below, as well as any instructions given by the race organiser and officials of the race.

Entry Fee:

All entry fees, related tickets and purchases are non-refundable. Violation of the same will result in immediate disqualification. Registrations will not be carried over to the following year’s event.


Race Memento

Only upon completion of the course distance for their respective events, will finishers be awarded their medals. Non-participants are NOT eligible for race medals. All completed participants are eligible for medals irrespective of categories. The winners will be declared based on the FLAG OFF time.


Event Cancellation

The event will only be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. The organiser shall not be liable in respect to any entry fees, costs and expenses the participant may incur as a result of such cancellation or postponement.


Race Bib Numbers

For safety reasons and primarily for identification by medical staff, the swapping, sale, resale or transfer of race bib numbers is strictly prohibited. Violation of the same will lead to immediate disqualification.


Race Ejection

The organiser reserves the right to refuse an entrant’s attendance at, or participation in the race. Any participant who is found putting themselves or anyone else at risk will be immediately evicted from the course and event venue.


Entry Details

Participants must ensure that they provide correct details during the registration process and inform the organiser well in advance of the race, of any changes. If the participant’s contact information changes after the submission for the registration, the organiser must be notified by email at [email protected] before the commencement of the event.


General Health:

Participants should be in good health, free from serious illness or injury. A medical check-up is recommended, especially for those with pre-existing conditions.


⁠Cardiovasculr Fitness: Participants with a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, fainting, or chest pain must consult a doctor before the race.


Respiratory Conditions: Runners with asthma should carry inhalers. Avoid participating if you have a respiratory infection or flu-like symptoms.


Musculoskeletal Health: Those with injuries or chronic joint/muscle conditions should seek medical advice. Adequate preparation and stretching are crucial.


⁠Chronic Conditions: Conditions like diabetes or epilepsy must be well-managed. Carry necessary medications.


Hydration & Nutrition: Stay hydrated and follow dietary precautions if needed.


Medications: Ensure regular medications are safe for participation and carry them during the race.


Mental Health: Manage race-day stress. Participants with anxiety or depression should have coping strategies.


Pregnancy: Pregnant participants must consult their doctor.


Emergency Contact: You must provide an emergency contact number on the registration form.


The organisers shall reserve the right to remove, ban or exclude any participant who is found in breach of these terms and conditions. Participants are required to comply with the organiser’s decision.
